At Caliber, we say we’re not just fixing cars, we’re fixing lives. That means we see every repair as more than just a dent that needs buffing or steel that needs welding—we see you—the people and families who rely on this vehicle to transport you safely. That’s why every vehicle we restore upholds industry standards and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) regulations, so you leave knowing the repair was done right.
This is especially true with newer model vehicles and their advanced technologies. With all of the new innovations for safety, we have to make sure we’re up to date. ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) allow for amazing new features like Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision Warning and Blindspot Detection, but these features have to be scanned and calibrated after any repair we do. If we simply repair your bumper and do not calibrate the scanners within, this could cause serious problems when you’re driving down the road. Learn more about how we use ADAS to keep you safe here.
In 2020, the advancements will keep coming. New features like pedestrian detection, adaptive headlights and others will make drivers safer on the road, but they must be accurately repaired after an accident or we haven’t done our job. Read more about other tech innovations we’re excited about here.
Rest assured if a new technology is released, we’ll make sure we’re up to date so we can get you back on the road safely and quickly. It’s one more way we live our Purpose – Restoring the Rhythm of Your Life®.
